CEDARTONE PRESSURE TREATED LUMBER
POST AND POLES

CEDARTONE PRESSURE TREATED LUMBER:
  • We purchase from selected mills the best quality #2 and better lumber available. We then further grade this lumber to remove defects before staining and pressure treating. The end result is a lumber product with a high appearance quality, as all pieces will have one good face and two good edges.

  • A chemical reaction between the stain and the ACQ preservative occurs during the treating process. This reaction and the pressure of treating locks the stain into the wood, resulting in very high colour retention. The rich colour will last two to three years on deck surfaces and as long as seven years on vertical surfaces.

  • Our wide product selection makes it possible to be able to choose Cedartone Pressure Treated Lumber for a wide variety of outdoor building projects.

POSTS AND POLES:
  • These CCA, or optional ACQ, treated posts and poles require no maintenance such as painting or staining. This means that you can set them and forget them. They will last five to ten times longer than untreated wood.

  • The wide variety of dimensions and lengths will satisfy a multitude of fencing and building projects.

  • In addition to lower maintenance, our treated posts also have a lower replacement cost than metal posts, so every time that you use them, you are saving money.

  • Due to their ease of workability without special tools required, you will find our posts and poles to be more flexible and adaptable to terrain and other installation requirements.

  • These posts have a clean and non-oily surface in addition to being odourless. This means that they are suitable for use around livestock, plants and humans.

  • You will also find these posts and poles to be non-corrosive to most metal fasteners, which will add up to even further savings in maintenance and other related costs.

  • Because of the increased depth of penetration afforded by the pressure treating process, these poles will last up to 30 years.
